Artist Reception Featuring Jonathan McAfee

After receiving his Bachelor Degree of Fine Arts from the Herron School of Art and Design, Indiana artist Jonathan McAfee displayed his work in a solo exhibit in Effigy. He has been recognized for his work by receiving the Charles Yeager Painting Award and the Marvin Bradley Drawing Award in 2005, the Prelude Awards Collaboration Winner in 1999. Jonathan considers himself an abstract expressionist first and a portraitist second. His work portrays those he feels have struggled for their achievements. Mother & Youth Creative Art Class

Sign up for our mother and youth creative arts workshop. This is a workshop that offers mothers and their child to create a polymer clay plant box of their choice together! Each mother child combination will be able to choose from a bee, lady bug, worm, caterpillar, or spider. Spend time bonding with your mom or child and have a creative plant box to place into any plant to remind you of the time spent together.
